Casa Dominova - Península Sorrentina

Buena ubicación en el centro histórico. Accesible a pie desde la estación de tren. Agradable patio para desayunar (cuando el tiempo lo permite)

El personal no está disponible todo el día; de tarde hay que llamarlos a un restaurante cercano. No cambiaron las toallas todos los días a pesar de que estaba escrito en el reglamento.

Excelente ubicación en el centro mismo de la ciudad. Habitaciones correctas y limpias. Personal amable.

No tiene instalaciones comunes, ni siquiera una recepción. El desayuno se hace en el jardín, lo cual está muy bien si hace buen tiempo. Desayuno continental, abundante pero todos los días igual. No tiene parking, ni hay sitio para aparcar en la calle por lo que si llevas coche hay que añadir 20 euros diarios de presupuesto.

La ubicación, queda a pasos del muelle. *Dato, se puede llegar caminando desde la estación de trenes, No es necesario tomar taxi.El Hotel en general es bueno, quede conforme.

El personal no está todo el día, solo durante la mañana, por lo que si se presenta un problema en la noche no hay a quién acudir.

Lo único que no me gustó fue que quedamos en vernos en un restaurante (que tb es propiedad de los dueños del hotel) y finalmente ellos no estabna allí si no en el hotel con lo que nos tocó recorrer la ciudad con la maletas a cuestas...

Very helpful staff, lovely girl called Marianna who was great at making contact, responding to emails and facilitating us whatever way possible. We also got discount (without asking) from owner in his nearby restaurant (15%) on our first meal there and it was tasty too! Location of rooms are excellent, central yet very quiet and peaceful.

the shower door was broken, not a big issue, could 'lift" it closed and was happy to have running hot water at all times... room was quite chilly and slightly musty smell upon entry but looked very fresh and clean. Also, breakfast was below average..good croissants but no excuse for not providing fresh juices in sorrento!! and fresh fruit would be a nice addition. Only decent cup of tea in the country tho!

Very well situated in the old town, close to bus,train, port and restaurants. Quiet and peaceful from the outside - no noise of traffic. Breakfast in the pretty walled garden. Beautifully decorated. Pleasent and friendly and helpful owners.

The rooms are not insulated at all and you can hear every word being spoken in adjacent rooms (and disturbance from the occupants above) all magnified many times keeping us awake into the early hours of the morning. Neadless to say we got little sleep and were exhausted. Breakfast, although top quality, was a croissant and slice of cake. Small glass of juice, yogurt and cup of coffee. Not sufficient for the smallest appetite.

The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. Breakfast was outside in the courtyard and even in March was pleasant. Having only seven rooms made it easy to meet and converse with other travellers at breakfast, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant the owner runs, Da Gigino, serves great food at reasonable prices. We ate there all three nights we were in Sorrento and count them among the best meals we had in Italy. Ciro, the owner, is personable and friendly, making us feel welcome at both the hotel and restaurant.

Proximity to beaches, restaurants, shopping. Excellent value for money.

On the first of 4 nights, the shower did not produce any hot water. But it was not a major issue and was resolved then next day.

/The best think about Casa Dominova is its location, it is right in the heart of Sorrento. It is beside everything.

If you call a cappuccino and an apple breakfast this is for you. Otherwise you could only regard it as room only, and go out for breakfast. All there is is some fruit in a wooden container a few rolls on a plate with butter and jam. We did take our own cereal and Marianna did give my husband some hot milk which was fine. But if you are a breakfast person this is not for you.

The hotel was central and gave easy access to the beach and restaurants. The room was cheerful and comfortable and the owners were pleasant and helpful

There was a crack in the hand basin and the plug did not fit properly.

The rooms were as clean and bright as they look on the website. The location is on a very central street in the old town but overlooks a quiet garden. The path down to the beaches is just around the corner. Breakfast was fresh pastries and nice coffee in the courtyard. Owner and staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. Associated restaurant Da Gigino was also good.

Location was terrific. Right in the middle of Sorrento surrounding shops and restaurants plus easy access (50m) to steps leading to seaside

The breakfast was a little bland.. consisting of four different types breads yet nothing exciting to go with it.

Casa Dominova is a small, comfortable, immaculately clean b&b with a fabulous location in the historic section of Sorrento. Our double room opened onto a view of the neighboring garden with its lemon trees and flowers. It is a half-block from a lovely city park with its stunning cliff views of the Mediterranean, and a lift that takes you down to the beach. The quaint cobblestone streets and alleyways surrounding the b&b are filled with restaurants, outdoor cafes, shops, fresh produce stands, gelati stands, etc. that make for pleasurable evenings of strolling and exploring. Sorrento itself is a beautiful, spotless small city where we felt very safe all of the time, and Casa Dominova is in the heart of it. We can't wait to return!

Great location and the spacious room was ideal for a group of friends to share.
